Iowa Lakes athletes were recently honored by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) for academic achievements for the spring semester of 2019.
The ICCAC recognized 52 Iowa Lakes student-athletes for their academic achievement. The ICCAC has two award classifications: First-Team (3.5-4.0 GPA), Second-Team (3.0-3.49 GPA).
"Proud of the amount of student athletes that we have recognized on the academic all-region teams. It shows that our coaches are recruiting the right type of students, our programs are stressing academics, and our athletes are working very hard in the classroom, said athletic director Troy Larson."
