Cedar Rapids, IA- In a Wednesday night clash at Johnson Hall, the twelfth-ranked Kirkwood Eagles secured a solid victory against the eighth-ranked Iowa Lakes Lakers with a final score of 87-70, improving their ICCAC record to 3-1.

Leading at halftime with a score of 40-33, the Eagles displayed dominance from the game's onset.

Traijan Sain and Ayouba Berthe emerged as pivotal players, each contributing 15 points. Berthe stood out with a double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds alongside his scoring contribution. Zach Erwin led the team with 11 rebounds, bolstering their presence in the paint.

Caylor Hoffer showcased accuracy from beyond the arc, hitting 3 of 5 three-point attempts and adding 11 crucial points.
