#7 Eagles Drop to #11 Lakers

Estherville, IA- The seventh-ranked Kirkwood Eagles faced a tough opponent in the 11th-ranked Iowa Lakes Lakers on Wednesday night in Estherville. The Lakers took the game with a final score of 81-64 which places both teams at 10-3 in ICCAC play. 

The Lakers took control early, leading 42-28 at halftime. Despite outrebounding the Lakers 45-29, turnovers hurt the Eagles, allowing the Lakers to score 21 points off 18 turnovers.

Off the bench, Zach Erwin led the Eagles with 18 points, 14 of which, he scored in the second half. James Spencer recorded another double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Looking ahead, the Eagles aim to bounce back at home against Iowa Western this Saturday at 3:30 pm.
