SPENCER, Iowa - Iowa Western Women's Soccer notched their third straight shutout of the season, taking down Iowa Lakes CC 10-0 last Friday afternoon.

Midfielder Marie Quentel began the scoring with a blast from just inside of the box in the 6th minute. The redshirt freshman from Brest, France bookended the fifth goal of the first half in the 43rd minute as Lou Brossault, Nicole Navarro Aguilar, and Citlali Prado added goals of their own.  Quentel capped off the hat trick in the 52nd minute with a shot to the top shelf from 16 yards out.

The Reivers out-shot the Lakers 29-2 with backup goalkeeper Hannah Lucy stopping both of the home team's attempts.  Bella Washington started the first 45 minutes and didn't see an attempt in the first half.

Iowa Western has now run their program-record winning streak to 22 dating back to last season. They're back in action this weekend in Overland Park, KS for a pair versus Monroe CC and Johnson County CC.
