The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team dropped their first game of the year in a 94-82 loss to Ranger Community College of Texas. 

The Lakers were led by Nick Wagner with 23 points. Kyle Beisch added 15, Jacob Rau had 14, and Streeter McIlravy had 11.

Ranger was led by Caleb Smith with 21 points.

Iowa Lakes will host Dordt's JV on Monday at 7:30 pm in Laker Gymnasium in their first game of the season.
