Estherville, Iowa – Tuesday, February 13, 2018

 Iowa Lakes Sophomore guard Dennis Joiner earned conference player of the week for his efforts against Little Priest Tribal College and Southwestern Community College.

Against Little Priest, Joiner scored 21 points making 7 field goals while attempting 11.  He was 6 of 8 from the free throw line and had 2 steals. Later that week, Joiner scored 27 points while shooting 10 for 17 from the floor against the Spartans.  Dennis Joiner is averaging 11 points per game and grabbing 4 rebounds per game in conference play.

Coach Larson is "proud of Dennis. He has worked extremely hard this year. He has put the team first and sacrificed individual accomplishments for the good of the team. He is playing well and we need him to finish the season strong."
