The Lakers will host the Tritons from Iowa Central Wednesday night at 7:30 PM.  The Tritons are currently 18-9 overall with a conference record of 4-5.  They are coming off of an 87-68 victory against North Iowa Area Community College

Earlier in the season, the Lakers defeated Iowa Central in Fort Dodge 92-67.  The Lakers are looking to sweep the Tritons with a win on Wednesday night.

Tray Croft of Iowa Central is averaging 28 points per game in conference play.  Coach Larson stated, "Croft is a good player who can score the ball. We must do a good job on him defensively."  Last time out, Croft scored 36 points against the Lakers.

The Lakers are looking to get back on track after a road loss against Kirkwood.  Against the Eagles, the Lakers had 4 players in double digits for points.  Nick Wagner led the way with 19 points.  Jacob Rau finished the night with a double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Kyle Beisch and Solomon Clayton scored 13 points and 10 points respectively. 

Fort Dodge High School alumni Kyle Beisch and Solomon Clayton are looking to have a good game against the Tritons.  Beisch stated, "We had 2 days of practice to prepare for Iowa Central. I look forward to competing against Iowa Central."  During their last match up Kyle Beisch scored 20 points while shooting 50% from the field.  Solomon Clayton recorded a double double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball will also tip off against Iowa Central on Wednesday, February 21st at 5:30 PM.
