Joiner named ICCAC Athlete of the Week.

For the 2nd time in less then a month sophomore guard Dennis Joiner has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Athlete of the week.  The award if for the week of February 26th-March 4th.

For the week the Lakers beat NIACC 103-78 and Little Priest 101-91, the Lakers finished the regular season with a record of 22-8 and were 9-3 in ICCAC play. Over the two games, Joiner contributed a total of 32 points and 14 rebounds. Joiner showed his strength of shooting while knocking down 5 of 6 threepointers and was 12 of 19 on the floor. The Lakers host Southwestern on March 7 in the Semifinals of the Region XI Division Tournament. Tip will be at 7 pm in Laker Gymnasium.
