20th ranked Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball will return home Monday, November 5th, to take on Dordt Defender JV at 7:30 PM. Against the Defenders last year, Solomon Clayton scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds while shooting six for six from the field. Jacob Rau also went perfect from the field and contributed 15 points for the Lakers. The Lakers defeated Dordt Defenders 122-60.
The Lakers (1-0) won their home opener Thursday night against Northwestern JV, 92-76. Four Lakers scored in double digits apiece. Solomon Clayton, Equan Ards, and Kevin Jennings each scored 19 points. Boston Grimes finished the night with 14 points.
The Lakers look to defend home court before they travel to Norfolk, Nebraska to compete in the Northeast Community College Hawks Classic. They will face Central Community College on Friday, November 9th, and play Northeast Community College on Saturday, November 10th.
