Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball returned from Thanksgiving break to face Minnesota West Blue Jays in Worthington. The Lakers advanced to 6-1 on the season, with a 93-89 victory over the Blue Jays.
The Lakers trailed in the first half but was able to rally back to take the lead 47-44 to finish the half. Lamontae Lewis and Equan Ards finished the first half with 10 and 13 points, respectively.
Four Lakers finished with double digits in scoring. Lamontae Lewis scored 12 points. Kevin Jennings and Boston Grimes finished the night with 11 and 15 points, respectively. Equan Ards led the Lakers in scoring for the night with 24 points. Solomon Clayton finished the night with 12 rebounds.
The Lakers return home on Monday, November 26th, to take on Dakota Wesleyan JV. Tip off for the game is at 7:30 PM.
