Laker Basketball Returns Home to Face Dakota Wesleyan JV

Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball will return home Monday, November 26th, to play against Dakota Wesleyan JV at 7:30 PM.  The Men's Basketball team is coming off a win against Minnesota West, 93-89, to move on to 6-1 for the season. 

Four Lakers scored in double digits against the Blue Jays.  Equan Ards led all Lakers in scoring with 24 points.  Kevin Jennings, Lamontae Lewis, and Boston Grimes finished their night against the Blue Jays with 11, 12, and 15 points respectively.  Solomon Clayton finished the night with 12 rebounds.

Last year, the Lakers defeated Dakota Wesleyan JV, 95-71.  Solomon Clayton and Jacob Rau finished the night in double digits for scoring with 10 and 16 points each. The Lakers shot 67% from the three-point arc that night.

The Laker offense has been off to an efficient start.  The Lakers are second in the nation in offensive field goal percentage and fifth in field goals made per game.  The Lakers average 96 points per game which ranks 12th in the nation.  In regards to the offensive rankings Coach Larson stated, "We have several talented offensive players and hopefully we can continue to score at an efficient level."
