Clayton named ICCAC Player of the week

Iowa Lakes Sophomore Forward Solomon Clayton of Ft. Dodge, IA earned Iowa Community College Conference Athlete of the Week for his efforts against Southwestern, Graceland JV, and Little Priest Tribal College.

Against Southwestern, Clayton had a monster game scoring 21 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Lakers.  He was 6 of 10 from the floor including going 9 of 13 from the free throw line. The Lakers would win the game 93-84.  The very next night, The Lakers would take on Graceland JV. In that game Clayton would score 14 points while shooting 7 of 9 from the floor and grabbing 17 rebounds. The Lakers would then host Little Priest Tribal college on Saturday. Solomon Would go 8 of 10 from the floor scoring 18 points and would also grab 7 rebounds in that contest. Solomon is averaging 14.3 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game on the year while shooting 60% from the floor.
