The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 1-2 on the season with a 102-74 win over Dordt University's JV. 

Iowa Lakes was led by Justin Brookens with 22 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Lakers was Kevin Cook with 18 points, Keshawn Pegues with 15 points, Malcolm Clayton with 14 points, Josh English with 12 points, and Dillon Carlson with 10 points.

Dordt was led by Grant Brouwer with 15 points.

Iowa Lakes will travel to Norfolk, Nebraska this weekend to take part in the Hawk Classic. In their first game they will take on Northeast Community College, a NJCAA Division 1 school from Norfolk. Tip for that game will at 8 pm on Friday, November 8th . In their second game of the classic they will take Central Nebraska of Columbus at 2 pm on Saturday, November 9th. They will return home on November 23rd vs. Minnesota West.
