Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 6-2 on the season with a 109-79 win over Minnesota West.
 
The Lakers who pushed their winning streak to 6 games were led by Kevin Cook with 19 points. 5 other Lakers scored in double figures including: Keshawn Pegues with 16, Boston Grimes with 15, Justin Brookens with 14, and both Alan Kikwaki and Xavier Evans had 13.
 
Minnesota West was led by Jaimon Cheek with 14 points.
 
Coach Larson had this to say about the game,"We came put played with great energy and it allowed us to get off to a good start. Our guys competed hard for most of the game and we can get better when we do that." 
 
The Lakers next game will be when they host Northwestern College's JV on Monday, November 25th. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
