The Iowa Lakes moves to 8-2 on the season with a 114-75 win over Central Nebraska.
Justin Brookens led the way for the Lakers scoring 26 points. Keshawn Pegues added 16 points and 8 rebounds, Alan Kikwaki added 15 points, Dillon Carlson had 14 points, Malcolm Clayton had 11 points, and Xavier Evans had 10 points.
Central was led by Nathan Frost with 25 points.
Coach Larson had this to say about the game, "We really shot the ball well tonight, and when you shoot the ball well the game can be easy. However you still need to defend and play the right way and in the second half we relaxed and didn't not do that. The learning process for us as we move forward is to defend and rebound when we shoot the ball well."
The Lakers will open up Iowa Community College Athletic Conference on Wednesday, December 4th in Laker Gymnasium. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm!
