Estherville, IA - The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team climbed to 8th in the latest NJCAA Division II poll released on January 27.

Last week, Iowa Lakes (17-3 overall, 5-1 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play) defeated 3rd ranked DMACC 69-59, then topped Ellsworth 87-70, and ended the week with a 112-73 win over Dakota Wesleyan JV. 

North Central Missouri College (17-1) is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll. Milwaukee Area Tech (21-1) is ranked second and Schoolcraft (17-1) is ranked third. Three other ICCAC members are ranked in the poll. DMACC 7th, NIACC 12th, and Kirkwood 14th. 

The Lakers return to ICCAC play on Wednesday at Little Priest. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
