The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 4-3 on the season with a 72-49 win at Ellsworth. 

The Lakers were led by Dillon Carlson with 16 points. Kevin Cook added 12 points, and Xzavier Jones added 11. Cook led the team with 8 rebounds. 

Iowa Lakes who led at halftime 28-25 outscored Ellsworth 44-24 in the 2nd half and outrebounded Ellsworth 43-21 for the game. 

Ellsworth's individual statistics were not available at the time.

"Our defense was good the whole game but we really had a stretch there in the 2nd half where our intensity was great and that allowed us to stretch our lead," said Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson. 

The Lakers will host 4th ranked Kirkwood on Saturday. Tip for that game will be at 5 pm.
