The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 6-3 on the season with a 91-85 win over Iowa Western.

Iowa Lakes was led by Ryan Hall with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Xzavier Jones had 19 points and 12 rebounds, Kevin Cook added 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Johnathan added 10 points.

Iowa Western was led by Marcedus Leech Jr with 20 points.

Iowa Lakes had another solid night rebounding the ball. They out rebounded Iowa Western 44 to 24.

Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game. "Our guys are individually maturing which is allowing us to become a college basketball team.  We did not play great tonight but found a way to win. Our players allowed us to coach them hard and they responded by playing better. Our preparation on an individual bases is improving as well which allows us to shoot the ball better and make better plays."

Iowa Lakes will travel to Creston, Iowa on Saturday to take on Southwestern. Southwestern defeated Iowa Lakes the last time they played 69-65.
