The NJCAA 9th ranked Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team pushed their win streak to 6 games and moved to 8-3 on the season with a 86-83 win over NIACC.

The Lakers were led by Caleb Johnson with 26 points. Xzavier Jones added 20 points and 7 rebounds. Ryan Hall added 14 points, and Kevin Cook had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Dillon Carlson led the team with 9 rebounds.

NIACC was led by McKleary Robertson with 30 points.

Iowa Lakes had another solid night rebounding the ball. Out rebounding NIACC 39-29. 

Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game. "We didn't play very good in the first half. We came out flat and had to many turnovers but our guys responded and were able to pull out the win on the road."

Iowa Lakes will host Marshalltown on Saturday. Tip will be at 3pm. Marshalltown is currently 7-1 on the season. It will be the first meeting between the teams this season. The game will be live streamed at www.iowalakesathletics.com
