The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team pushed their winning streak to 7 games and moved to 9-3 on the season with a 95-73 win over Marshalltown.

The Lakers were led by Kevin Cook with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Ryan Hall added 20 points and 5 rebounds. Xzavier Jones added 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Dillon Carlson and Caleb Johnson each had 13.

Marshalltown was led by David Roberts with 20 points.

Iowa Lakes out rebounding Marshalltown 49-29. 

Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game. "I thought that was the best offensive flow we had all year. Our guys did a great job rebounding the ball again and we held them 37% from the floor. It was a good all-around effort."

Iowa Lakes will travel to Ft. Dodge on Wednesday to play Iowa Central. The tip will be at 7 pm. Iowa Central is currently 4-7 on the season. It will be the first meeting between the teams this season.
