The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 13-6 on the season with a 103-71 win over Iowa Central.

The Lakers had 4 people score in double figures. They were led by Xzavier Jones with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Dillon Carlson had 19 points, Ryan Hall added 16, and Caleb Johnson had 15.

Iowa Central was led by Javonte Keck with 24 points.

The Lakers had their best night shooting from the perimeter on the season going 16 of 27 from 3 on the night. 

Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game "We had bad energy to start the game and it led us to a slow start but in the 2nd half we made some 3's and the energy became greater, and our guys played well."

Iowa Lakes will host Indian Hills on Saturday. Tip will be at 3pm. Indian Hills is currently 17-2 the season. It will be the second meeting between the teams this season. Iowa Lakes lost the game 101-92.
