Lakers fall to DMACC

The Iowa Lakes men's basketball team fell in the Final Four of the NJCAA Division 2 National Tournament today when they lost to 2nd seeded DMACC 69-61.

The Lakers were led by Caleb Johnson with 13 points. Dillon Carlson added 10.

DMACC was led by Willie Guy with 15 points.

Head Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game. "We were really poor offensively tonight. We couldn't get in flow, and we held the ball too much. I thought we competed at times, and we did a good job rebounding the ball, but they were tougher than us tonight."

Iowa Lakes will take on Garrett Community College in the 3rd place game of The NJCAA Division 2 National Tournament. The Lakers hale from McHenry, MD are 17-1 on the season with their only loss coming vs. Davidson Davie in the Final Four of the NJCAA Division 2 National Tournament.

All games throughout the duration of National Tournament can be streamed live on the NJCAA Network: https://www.njcaa.org/network.
