The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 7-2 on the season and 1-0 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with an 82-69 Win over Southwestern.
The Lakers were led by Ryan Hall with 21 points, Caleb Johnson added 13, and Jaylen Harris had 11. The Lakers were led in rebounding by Xzavier Jones with 10.
Southwestern was led by Duke Carey with 16.
Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game, " We got off to an ok start. We didn't play as hard as we needed to, to start the second half and we let them get back in the game. We have to play better if we want to compete for a league championship."
The Lakers will travel to Burlington, Iowa on Sunday to play NJCAA Division 1 Southeastern. Tip will be at 3pm.
