Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team knocked off 7th ranked Iowa Western 67-65 to move to 13-5 overall and 5-2 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.
Leading the Lakers in scoring was Ryan Hall with 19 points. Johnathan Oden chipped in with16. Oden also added 12 rebounds and 5 blocks, and Caleb Johnson added 13 points.
Iowa Western was led by Roland McCoy with 17.
"Our guys played hard on the defensive end and we made some plays late to pull out the win. It felt like we played like a good college basketball team. I'm proud of our guys for not quitting." said Iowa Lakes Head Men's Basketball Coach Troy Larson.
The Lakers will travel to Inner Grove Heights, MN Saturday, to take on Dakota County. Tip for that game will be at 3. They will return home on Monday where they will take on Iowa Western in a rematch of tonights game. Tip for that contest will be at 7:30 pm.
