Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball knocked off 14th ranked Iowa Western 71-60. The win moves the Lakers to 14-6 overall and 6-2 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
The Lakers were led by Ryan Hall with 16 points, and Xzavier Jones and Caleb Johnson each had 12. Jones led the Lakers in rebounding with 14.
Iowa Western was led by Thomas Faber with 18 points.
Laker head men's basketball coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game, "Our guys played hard tonight. I'm proud of the effort. The effort they give is what a college basketball should look like."
The Lakers will host Ellsworth on Wednesday. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
