Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball defeated Ellsworth 83-45 to move to 15-6 overall and 7-2 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
The Lakers were led by Jeremiah Burke with 20 points, Caleb Johnson had 12, and Johnatha Oden and Ozzie Meiborg each had 11. Xzavier Jones led the Lakers in rebounding with 10.
Ellsworth was led by Andres Arellano with 14 points.
Laker head men's basketball coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game, "Our guys played hard tonight, our defensive intensity was great, and then we were able to relax in the second half and get in the rhythm."
The Lakers will travel to Kirkwood on Wednesday. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
