Lakes stumble against DMACC

Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team fell to 19-9 overall and 10-5 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play on Sunday with a 76-75 loss to DMACC.

The Lakers were led by Caleb Johnson with 16 points. Johnson also added 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Johnathan Oden, Xzavier Jones, and Jerimiah Burke all chipped in with 11 points, and Anthony Holden added 10.

DMACC was led by Goanar Billiew with 16 points.

Head Coach Troy Larson had this to say about the game, "That was a good college basketball game. It was our best fight all year. We have to be better late clock, execute our stuff, and not turn the ball over down the stretch. We will watch film and learn from it.  We will be better the next time out."

The Lakers will travel to Mason City Wednesday, February 23rd  to take on NIACC. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
