Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team defeated Iowa Central 69-58 to move to 7-5 overall and 1-0 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.
Jeremiah Burke led the way for the Lakers with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Holden added 11 points and 7 rebounds, and Isaiah Williams had 11 points as well. Sam West chipped in with 12 rebounds.
Iowa Central was led by Kevin Taylor with 19 points.
"I thought Amiri Crowder played at a really high level for being out the last 10 days. When he was in the game our offensive flow was better and we were more connected as a unit defensively and that allowed us to win the game." Said Laker Head Coach Troy Larson.
The Lakers next action will be December 10th when they travel to Boone, IA to take on DMACC. Tip for that game will be 3pm.
