Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 12-5 and 5-0 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 75-67 win over Iowa Western.

The Lakers were led by Jeremiah Burke with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Creighton Morisch added 10 points and 11 rebounds as well. Also, scoring in double figures was Amiri Crowder with 10 points.

Iowa Western was led by Rob Sanders with 14 points.

"Sometimes you have to grind one out. We weren't very good offensively or defensively tonight, but we did a really good job rebounding the ball," said Iowa Lakes Head Coach Troy Larson.

The Lakers will travel to Creston, Iowa to take on Southwestern on Wednesday, January 11^th.
