Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team defeated Southwestern 58-45 to move to 13-5 overall and 6-0 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Play. 

The Lakers were led by Jeremiah Burke with 21 points. 

Southwestern was led by Devin Tomlinson with 18 points.

"Proud of our guys effort in the second half.  They battled through adversity in the first 30 minutes of the game and were able to grind out a win in a tough environment against well coached team," said Laker Head Coach Troy Larson. 

The Lakers will return to action on Saturday, January 14th when they travel to Dakota County. Tip for that game will be at 3pm.
