Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team traveled to Inver Grove, MN to take on Dakota County on Saturday. The Lakers would win the contest 72-54 to push their overall record to 14-5.
The Lakers were led by Anthony Holden and Amiri Crowder with 12 points and Creighton Morisch added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Dakota County was led by Jeremy Wanguhu with 11 points.
"Really proud of our guys defensive and rebounding efforts tonight. We held them to 31% from the floor and out rebounded them 46-27." Said Laker Head Coach Troy Larson.
The Lakers will return to ICCAC play on Wednesday when they travel to Mason City, IA to take on NIACC. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
