Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team knocked off 18th ranked Ellsworth 90-82. The win moves the Lakers to 16-6 overall, and 8-1 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.
The Lakers were led by Jeremiah Burke with 25 points, Creighton Morisch had 16 points and 15 rebounds, Amiri Crowder had 14 points, and Anthony Holden had 12 points.
Ellsworth was led by Dior Davis with 20 points.
The win was Head Coach Troy Larson 337th making him the all time winningest head coach in Iowa Lakes history.
"Really proud of our guys tonight, they handled adversity and did a great job rebounding the ball." Said Laker Head Coach Troy Larson.
The Lakers will return to action Wednesday, February 1st, when they take on Southwestern. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 PM.
