Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament with a 96-87 overtime win over Kirkwood.
The Lakers were led by Creighton Morisch with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Amiri Crowder added 20 points, Isaiah Williams had 18, and Ozzie Meiborg had 13 points.
Kirkwood was led by Noah King with 21 points.
"Really proud of our guys tonight. We fought through adversity early and were able to come back after being down 14. We did a great job defensively and rebounded the ball well when we couldn't get any going offensively." Said Laker Head Coach Troy Larson.
The Lakers will travel to Danville, Illinois for the National Tournament March 20th-25th.
