Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 13-4 on the season and 5-2 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 90-89 overtime win at Iowa Western.

Benard Omooria led the way for the Lakers with 19 points, Sam West had 16 points, Blake Kooiman and Ashton Hermann each had 14 points and Malik Grandberry had 13 points. Jhordan Ryan led the Lakers in rebound with 16. 

Iowa Western was led by Emion Galloway with 21 points. 

"I am really proud of our defensive effort tonight. On a night where we couldn't throw it in the ocean our defense came up big."

The Lakers next contest will be in Ft. Dodge on Saturday. They will take on Iowa Central at 3pm.
