Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved 14-4 overall and 6-2 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play with a 83-72 win over Iowa Central.
The Lakers were led by Kai Evans with 30 points. Benard Omooria added 13, Sam West had 12 and Blake Kooiman had 10.
Iowa Central was led by Randy Latham with 22 points.
"Our defensive effort was really good in the first half and in the second half our guys did a really good job rebounding the ball! I'm really proud of them today." Said Laker Head Coach Jason McKinney.
The Lakers will return to action Monday nightwhen they take on NIACC in Laker Gymnasium. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
