Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team fell to NIACC 83-78 to fall to 14-5 overall and 6-3 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.

The Lakers were led by Sam West with 28 points, Kai Evans added 21 points, and Benard Omooria added 10.

NIACC was led by Wyatt Helming with 24 points.

Laker Head Coach Jason McKinney had this to say about the game. "Have to give NIACC credit then came in and played hard. They wanted to win more than we did.

The Lakers will return to action on Wednesday when they host Northeast. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 PM.
