Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team moved to 16-5 overall with a 85-76 win over Dakota County. 

The Lakers were led by Benard Omooria with 23 points. Sam West had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Ashton Hermann had 13 points, Kai Evans had 11 points, and Malik Grandberry had 10 points.

Manny Montgomery led the way for Dakota County with 26 points.

"Really proud of our guys effort in the second half. We didn't  have much fight to start the game but they handled adversity and responded in the right matter." Said Laker Head Coach Jason McKinney. 

The Lakers will travel to Iowa Falls on Wednesday where they will take on Ellsworth. Tip for that game will be at 7:30 pm.
