Jaedan Jefferson – Iowa Lakes – Sophomore – Guard

Jaedan Jefferson, sophomore guard at Iowa Lakes, had himself a week for the Lakers squad. Jefferson and Iowa Lakes capped off a perfect week going 2-0 and taking down No. 7 ranked Kirkwood and unranked Western Iowa Tech. Against Kirkwood, Jefferson brought energy off the bench and helped extend the Iowa Lakes lead in the first half of the game. Jefferson ended the game with 16 points going 2 of 3 from beyond the arch. The win capped off a three-game stretch where the Lakers knocked off #3 DMACC, #7 Kirkwood and #9 Ellsworth. On Saturday, in Western Iowa Tech game, Jefferson went off for 25 points while going 4 for 6 from deep and going a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. Overall -- 21 points per game and 6 for 9 from deep.

The Lakers are currently 21-6 overall and 12-4 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.

The Lakers next home game is today Wednesday, February 21st  vs Dakota County at 7:30pm.
