Estherville, IA- The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team defeated Dakota County 93-78 to move to 22-6 overall on the season.
The Lakers were led by Kai Evans and Sam West with 20 points. Benard Omooria added 15 points, and Jaedan Jefferson and Jhordan Ryan each had 13.
Dakota County was led by Manny Montgomery with 34 points.
"Really proud of our guys fight down the stretch. We didn't play our best basketball tonight but when it mattered, we caused some key turnovers, got stops, and rebounded the ball." Said Laker Head Coach Jason McKinney.
The Lakers will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Mason City to take on NIACC. Tip for that game will be at 3 pm. They will return home for their final regular season game on Wednesday, February, 28th.
