The Iowa Lakes Lakers will be sending two individuals to the NJCAA DII National Golf Tournament after sophomores Jordan Henry and Matt Bennett punched their tickets taking the only two individual spots offered from the regional tournament. Jordan Henry posted a two day total of 158 with a second round score of 83. Jacob Baker shot a second round score of 81 to give a two day total of 161. Connor Anderson fired an 88 while Jack Brashear carded an 85, to give two day scores of 166 and 168, respectively.

"The weekend just simply did not finish out the way we had hoped. We were in a great position but we had two really good teams right on our heels waiting for a chance to make a move and they took it. Iowa Central played really well today and DMACC did what they had to do to advance. It just simply was not our day." said Coach Weber. "Our guys are disappointed that the team did not advance to the National Tournament, but we are very excited that we will be represented well by Jordan and Matt. It was a great season and certainly one that I will never forget with it being my first season at Iowa Lakes, it is a truly bittersweet day. These guys will always have a special place in my life and I hope nothing but the best for them moving forward."

Jordan Henry and Matt Bennett will be playing in the National NJCAA DII Tournament which is held May 23rd-26th in Mesa, Arizona at the Longbow Golf Club. It is Matt's second appearance at the National Tournament and Jordan's first as well as Coach Weber's first trip as a coach.
