Both freshmen, Brandon Erlandson and Jude Walz, competed as individuals. Brandon carded a 110 and Jude finished with a 88.

"We have a very young team and that showed in our debut. Our fellas have a lot of fine-tuning to do before we start tapping into our potential. One of the bigger steps players have to make from high school to college is the course management and decision making. Fort Dodge CC is one that you have to strategically work your way around the course. Our guys were striking the ball well but there were a handful of poor club selections and poor target lines that led to big numbers." said Coach Myers "We have the talent to post low scores, we just have to clean up the decision making and limit the double bogeys."

The Lakers head to Waterloo, IA Wednesday (9/13/23) for the fall regional preview.
