An Estherville native, Brashear graduated from Estherville Lincoln Central (ELC) in 2016 and played junior college golf at Iowa Lakes. Currently, he sells insurance for Farm Bureau Financial Services in Emmet County and bartends part-time at his family’s bar, Mac’s Top Hat.

Brashear is an avid outdoorsman in his free time, who enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes play whenever possible.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to come back to Iowa Lakes and help with the golf program. I enjoyed my time playing competitively on the Lakers team and had a great experience.
