The Lakers showed some great build up play in their third goal of the game which took place in the 70th minute. Rian Marques beat a defender, then struck the ball off of the goal post and Antonio Hernandez was in the right spot to score for the Lakers.

Levi Heholt scored the fourth and final goal in the 86th minute of the game that was assisted by Craig Barker

"We had a fantastic result today, but as I have stressed all season, it was more about performance. Although an even first half, the second half was a different story. We played some outstanding soccer, with clever movement and some quality deliveries. We showed the level we can get to and now need to keep that momentum going into the weekend. We are very much looking forward to playing Iowa Western on Saturday on what should be an outstanding soccer game to watch," said Head Coach Ben MacRae.

The Lakers will next travel to Council Bluffs, Iowa on Saturday, September 16th to take on the Iowa Western Reivers in a Conference match-up.
