Another Iowa Lakes Community College Soccer player will advance to play at NAIA program Briar Cliff University.

 Big Omari, Defender, appeared in 19 games – starting 17 of those throughout his two seasons at Iowa Lakes Community College. Omari was a great role model on and off the field, he was a great teammate and lead by example at Iowa Lakes.

This gives Omari an opportunity to continue his collegiate career as a student-athlete as well as to obtain his bachelor's degree.

 "I really enjoyed my time at Iowa Lakes, I made lifelong friends and grew a lot as a soccer player," said Omari. Omari also gave a special thank you to the Iowa Lakes coaching staff and faculty as well as the Spencer community which made him feel comfortable away from his home.
