On Sunday February 11th the Iowa Lakes Community College Men's Soccer team traveled to Decorah, Iowa for the Luther College Indoor Classic Soccer Tournament.
The tournament consisted of 12 teams, the Lakers took two teams (Lakers Blue and Lakers Gray) to compete in the tournament. The remaining 10 teams came from NAIA Institutions along with NCAA Division 3 Schools.
Both Iowa Lakes teams showed some brilliant soccer and scored some outstanding goals. The Lakers Blue team came on top and won the tournament. The team consisted of Abel Gebrekiros, Ollie Harrison, Kevin Yao, Marco Oyarzo, Levi Heholt, Big Omari, Jack Gibson and Nicolas Likulia.
The Lakers will continue to train for their spring season and will return to competition at home on April 7th.
