Sophomore Forward Antonio Hernandez will advance to compete at NAIA University Midlands in Fremont, Nebraska.

Antonio Hernandez joined the Lakers squad from Sioux City in 2016. During his time, he played in a total of 35 games starting 22 of those. In his career as a Laker he contributed not only on the field with goals and assists, but showing that hard work does really pay off. 

Scoring 7 total goals and contributing 4 assists along with 3 game winning goals really helped Antonio shine and catch interest from Universities. Antonio will continue on with his studies with an aspiration to be an athletic trainer.

"I have enjoyed my two years here at Iowa Lakes" said Hernandez. "It helped me to get better at soccer and in the classroom, I met good people and great teammates, we had a good team and a good coaching staff that helped me push on"
