Nolan hired as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach

The Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Department announced today the hiring of the new Assistant Men's Soccer Coach, Kevin Nolan. Nolan will join Men's Head Soccer Coach, Ben Macrae in coaching this year' team. 

"Kevin comes very highly recommended from his fellow coaches and has an extensive background in playing and coaching, that we will be tapping into. We are delighted to finally get our man. He will be a wonderful addition to the soccer program here and I'm sure will contribute tremendously to the future successes of our student-athletes and the team as a whole," commented Macrae.

Nolan most recently finished his first year as the Director of Player Personnel for the Greenville Football Club who plays in the National Premier Soccer League. Nolan was the head coach at Spartanburg Methodist College from 2015-2017 and had a record of 28-10-1 during his time there.

Nolan brings four years of collegiate playing experience with him as well, having played for Gardner-Webb University from 2009-2013.

Nolan earned his bachelor's degree from Gardner-Webb in Communications and Public Relations in 2013. 

The Lakers are 3-1-1 to start the season and will travel to NIACC today.
