SPENCER, IOWA-Sophomore forward Jovoney Brown was named ICCAC Athlete of the Week. The Jamaican native has had an  amazing start for the Lakers this 2019 season. In just three games Brown has totaled two goals and six assists for a total of 10 points.

Brown's Four of the six assists came from the Lakers 5-4 win over Lewis & Clark Community College. Jovoney then added two goals and two more assists in the Lakers home opening 6-2 win over Southeastern Community College.

The Lakers take a two game road trip down to Council Bluffs, Iowa. As they take on Northeastern Junior College on Saturday, September 7th, followed by #14 Laramie County CC on Saunday, September 8th.
