Iowa Lakes Defeats Hawkeye 6-2 on the Road

On Wednesday, Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer traveled to Waterloo to face #11 ranked Division II side Hawkeye. Winning the game 6-2, the Lakers now have an overall record of 4-1.

First-year Striker Henry Louko opened his scoring account to the season with a goal in the 23rd minute. A dazzling display from Attacking Midfielder Sofian Maghouz saw him to two goals and an assist in the first half. Fullback Logan Roach continued his strong start to the season with a phenomenal free-kick strike in the second half. Freshman Forward Henry Tolbert bagged himself two more goals in the second half, continuing to impress in his first year.

Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer faces #1 ranked Division II side Southeastern on Saturday in Spencer for their first official home game of the season.
