On Saturday, Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer Team traveled down to Ottumwa for their first conference match of the season, defeating Indian Hills 2-0. Logan Roach continued his hot streak with a goal in the 2nd minute of the game off a corner kick delivered by Lewis Nohar. Closing in on half-time, Sofian Maghouz got his goal in the 44th minute from a cross sent in by Logan Roach.

The Lakers came out strong in the second half and dominated possession, forcing Indian Hills to change tactics and chase the game. Goalkeeper Dion Zhubi continued his fine form, recording 4 saves and keeping the clean sheet. Center-back Morris Duggan was impressive over 90 minutes, breaking up several crucial plays to fend off the Warriors.

Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer plays Iowa Central next on the road, with a 3pm kickoff this Tuesday, September 21st.
